The Zenith El Primero Chronomaster collection is comprised of many timepieces with different designs, all tied together by their common use of the famous El Primero caliber. The movement was first introduced in 1969, though its development began in 1962. It made history as the first integrated, automatic chronograph caliber.
An iconic design trait among chronograph wristwatches, the Zenith tri-color chronograph registers have been a signature feature of the brand, ever since the earliest El Primero-equipped watches from 1969.
The El Primero calibre 410 is the heart and soul of the Chronomaster. It sings to the tune of 36,000 beats per hour, or 10 tics per seconds, or really a smooth glide. First produced in 1969, the El Primero is still considered by many the best mechanical chronograph movement.
Zenith Abstract. Zenith El Primero Chronomaster Moonphase Zenith Condition is Pre-owned. I have 2 of these I will be selling here on Ebay. This is the first one and I have had this one in storage. I believe it was used by the previous owner, but it will come with the box and the papers as well.
Zenith returns to the era the El Primero chronograph calibre was born in, with a reimagined edition of the legendary A384 from 1969 in a striking gradient blue dial, with striking red and white accents. A limited edition of 150 pieces exclusively available in North America.
However, with its date window at 4:30, the day window at 10 and the month window at 2, the Zenith El Primero 410 looks really good, especially because none of these indications step over the chronograph sub-counters – except the moon-phase that is inserted discreetly in the hour-counter at 6.
A sporty, balanced elegance can define Zenith El Primero 410 Triple Calendar and MoonPhase Chronograph. It’s not our first time with this watch, as we’ve already covered it in 2014 when Zenith presents it to the public and we’ve been briefly touching it, in a blue dial edition, at Baselworld 2015.However, you know the truth for a long time now:
It’s no quiet fact that the Zenith Calibre 410 is well-respected. This automatic column-wheel chronograph movement with moon phase and calendar functions was retired in 2000, after more than three decades of use. Recognizing the technical significance of this movement, Zenith has decided to bring it back once more for the new El Primero 410, limited to 500 pieces.
Zenith’s Chronomaster watches are truly a show stopper. The precise details in each watch is something everyone should take a closer look at. This Chronomaster is the first ever tourbillon fusee-chain calibre and has a manual winding El Primero with a fusee-chain escapement. The model comes in a variety of colors and a case diameter of 45mm.
